She also is in charge of our extensive rental inventory to assure you have the right equipment for inventory or special projects.
Sean Harris: Calibration Lab Coordinator

Our History
As a third-generation and fourth-generation family business, we've always had a special pride and respect for our company history. But today's economic climate is testing us to live up to our history as never before. OCS was founded in 1930 by a technician who rebuilt a scale business in the midst of the Great Depression. That scale technician was the grandfather of current OCS president John Gunn.
Napoleon Cousineau stepped up when his company manager tragically committed
suicide in the wake of that year's stock market crash. Left with customers needing
industrial scales and steady service in Cleveland's large manufacturing base,
he scrambled to serve his customers while pulling together the company that would
become known as Ohio Counting Scale.
We've come a long way since then. Manufacturing markets have certainly changed
and we've expanded and diversified our services to adapt to the times. All of
which leaves us prepared – as much as possible – to continue to meet the needs
of our customers.
We know that we're only as good as the quality of our response to our customers. When we remember the tenacity of our founder and his commitment to serve his customers without interruption in perilous times, we're humbled and determined.
After all, we have a lot to live up to.
