Description

MITUTOYO MICROMETERS

  • Mechanical outside micrometers measure outer dimensions in 1″ increments to 0.0001″ accuracy and resolution.
  • Electronic outside micrometers measure outer dimensions in 1″ increments to 0.0001″ accuracy and to 50 millionths (1 micron) resolution.
  • Micrometer sets measure outer dimensions in 1″ increments to 0.0001″ accuracy and 50 millionths (0.00005″) resolution over a wider range by incorporating a greater number of unique gages.
  • Electronic and Mechanical inside micrometers measure internal dimensions like internal diameters in 1″ increments to 0.0001″ accuracy and 50 millionths (0.00005″) resolution.
  • Electronic and Mechanical depth micrometers measure parts with depth features like internal notches in 1″ increments to 0.0001″ accuracy and 50 millionths (0.00005″) resolution.
  • Electronic and Mechanical micrometer heads are used in fixtures like locating small stages to ease reproducibility.  They can measure various dimensions depending on the fixture design and are offered in 1″ increments to 0.0001″ accuracy and 50 millionths (0.00005″) resolution.  Larger diameter micrometer heads are also available to decrease operator error.
  • Micrometer standards are fixed gages, with a fixed dimension, used to perform a basic field checks on micrometers and other linear precision measuring tools.
  • Electronic and Mechanical special function micrometers have the same fundamental characteristics of a typical micrometer.  What makes them special are the unique body types, spindle actions (non-rotating), contact variations, display types, or a combination thereof.  These combinations produce a useful tool wherein the same usefulness of a traditional micrometer would be lacking.  They retain the 1″ range with 0.0001″ accuracy and 50 millionths (0.00005″) resolution.
  • Micrometer accessories include supplemental products like data output cables, batteries, cases, and contact attachments.
